Senior Digital Literacy

Empowering Seniors Through Practical Technology Skills.

Program Overview

The Senior Digital Literacy – Building Self-Confidence Through Technology Program is a weekly educational initiative to equip seniors with practical digital and technology skills, boost their confidence, and foster a sense of connection in today’s technology-driven world.

While many seniors possess wisdom and life experience, they may struggle with navigating the digital world, leaving them feeling isolated, dependent, or lonely. This program addresses that gap by offering step-by-step instruction in using essential technologies and applications such as MS Word, MS Paint, MS PowerPoint, Gmail, Google Drive, ChatGPT, Canva as well as smartphone and computer usage. These tools help participants communicate, organize, and function independently.

In alignment with the core principles of the Experienced Valuable Individuals (EVI) Program, these sessions are designed to build not just technical ability but also self-esteem where seniors experience renewed empowerment through digital skill development and self-confidence.
